Neil Beckett | While the Nuits-St-Georges lieu-dit Au Bas du Combe, from a village vineyard on the border with Vosne, is very good, this Vosne-side premier cru is better still (unsurprisingly). Deep ruby. A light kirsch nose, then a beautifully melting texture, gently extracted tannins, elegant and restrained but fully ripe (even if Pacalet says he generally "prefers savory to sweet"). | 91
