Michael Edwards: A premier cru better known (to me, at least) for its whites, on very limestone, minerally soils. In its red incarnation, a translucent, light ruby hue—very inviting. Fine, soaring, youthful Pinot nose, at once juicy and mineral. The mouthfeel confirms a poised, vital, and racy Burgundy, lovely to drink young with a roast Bresse chicken and morel mushrooms. Value and great pleasure. 17
