Andrew Jefford: Clear, light red, though deep in hue. Ample red-fruit aromas, though slightly bonbon in style and even a little estery (pear-droppy). Attractive nonetheless if unclassical. Concentrated and lively on the palate, pleasant, with ample depth and poise. A more pristine aromatic profile would win this otherwise very acceptable wine a higher score. | 85
Jasper Morris: Clear bright mid-red. The nose displays a light band-aid character, along with heightened fresh raspberries. Pleasing fruit opens up in the mouth before the oak becomes a little bit prominent at the finish. This wine is unresolved at this stage but may well develop further, with clean fruit at the finish. Not a crowd-pleaser at this stage, but with potential to develop, if nothing bacterial intervenes. | 86
Catherine Petrie: A brilliant medium ruby in the glass. The toasty, brioche-scented aroma of new oak on the nose announces that this wine means business; and beneath this oak is some very fine fruit. Of all the wines so far, this is the first really to recall Burgundy. The palate is so precise, with a delicious length. The tannins are fresh and fine-grained, and the acidity is effortlessly woven through the complex red-berry fruit. Poised, and hugely promising.| 92
