Andrew Jefford: Light garnet-red. Soft-contoured and warm in scent, though without great allusive precision: red fruits in a punch bowl, minus the Christmas spice. Lively and poised on the palate, with plenty of freshening acidity. No great allusive precision here; juicy, fresh, relatively simple. Typically Pinot and plausibly Loire, but not a lot beyond that in a terroir- focus sense. Lovely drinking nonetheless. | 85
Jasper Morris: A fine bright red-purple color of medium depth. There is attractive fruit-weight on the palate, though with a very slightly vegetal edge. There is a bit of a tussle going on, which the pure deep cherry fruit is keen on winning. Certainly, the fruit thrives on the palate, now with some sweeter cherry-strawberry notes accompanied by some oak vanillin. Medium- bodied, with attractive length. Drink fairly soon. | 87
Catherine Petrie: Pale ruby. Lightly scented with wild strawberry aromas, it has a charming nose. The palate has a fresh, light frame. Fine, gentle tannins are in keeping with the overall character, which is fruity, fresh, and elegant. A pretty style of cool-climate Pinot Noir that offers much to enjoy in its youth. | 86
