Bruno Besa | Light ruby to pink. Elegant, black-tea, bergamot, and red- and black-fruits nose, with hints of smoke, road tar, and hazelnuts. Full body, with layered tannins well supported by the sweet red and black fruit. Finishes long and mineral. | 94
Andrew Jefford | Clear, limpid garnet-red. Sweet and warm, well-rounded, soft-focus aromas of glowing red fruits. Lovely ripeness here gives those fruits ample lift. Very attractive. Indeed, with more time in the glass this wine acquires impressive aromatic finesse and poise, up with the best in the tasting. This is a relatively light, settled wine on the palate, and there are more concentrated as well as riper wines in our tasting. For harmony, grace, and poise, though, this is a tasting highlight: svelte and elegant, perfect now, no need to keep further. Limpid, drinkable, digestible, and very pretty. Admirable quality and classicism here. | 92
Michael Palij | A wine that’s difficult to deny, with obvious aromas of ripe fruit including blueberry, blackberry, plum jam, balsamic vinegar, and licorice. On the palate it’s even more impressive, with dusty, grippy tannins, lots of ripe fruit and a leavening touch of acidity. This finishes with conviction. | 92
