BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Straw with golden highlights. Open, complex, citrus-fruit nose, with intense mineral character and hints of aromatic herbs, orange blossom, and lavender. Balanced palate, with sweet citrus fruit. Long and mineral finish | 93

Andrew Jefford | Pale gold. Vivid and articulate grapefruit, pomelo, and persimmon aromas; fresh and enticing. Lively, fresh, and almost zesty on the palate, with those fruits very cleanly and crisply defined. It’s a concentrated wine, and the acids are ripe and resonant, too. Excellent work here. Still super-fresh and evidently with many years ahead. | 91

Michael Palij | Obvious, fat, ripe-fruit nose of tinned peaches, dried honey, nectarine, apricot, marmalade, passionfruit, dried herbs, and nuts. The palate here is exceptional, with white peach, grapefruit, sage, and wet stone on the palate. This is a fantastic expression of Timorasso—once Italy’s least-considered white varietal. | 93
