Bruno Besa | Straw to golden. Clean, mature, complex mineral nose, with apricots, white peaches, cooked apples, and layered mineral undertones. Mature and clean palate, well supported by the lively acidity and intense minerality. Long, with a lemon-peel and crushed-stones finish. | 94
Andrew Jefford | A relatively full gold for this style, though still at the silvery end of things. Warm and vanillic, though gracefully monolithic, without a lot of aromatic detail here. Attractive nonetheless. Give it time, and resonant orchard fruits begin to appear as if waking from slumber. Vivid and full, very lively, with mature, non-primary fruit now structuring the palate; deep and sustained. There is not a lot of vinosity or drive here, but the settled harmonies of the now-subdued fruits are very attractive. Concentrated, long, and resonant: outstanding Pinot Bianco. | 91
Michael Palij | Bizarre and slightly oxidative nose, suggesting the extensive lees aging has not worn well. There’s decent fruit here, but I’d be excusing the obvious (i.e. oxidation) to suggest that this had a future ahead of it. Drink now. | 81
