BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Straw with golden highlights. Ripe, clean, and complex yellow fruit, with hints of sage, orange blossom, and yellow apples. Mature palate, with clean, sweet yellow and white fruit. Clean, long finish. | 91

Andrew Jefford | Faintly more gold than most of its peers, though still bright and pale. A jonquil yeast note dominates the aromas, and a sweetening touch of banana; unclassical, perhaps, but welcome nonetheless. Sweet on the palate, too. Not quite cute, but sweet. I wonder if the fruit will hold once the sweetness drops away? Delicious for the time being nonetheless. | 84

Michael Palij | Very serious nose, showing bright stone fruit (green apple, passionfruit), nuts (almond, cashew), floral (iris, honeysuckle) make this massively appealing at first glance. The palate is similarly multi-dimensional with the acidity corralling everything whilst the alcohol helps drive a very convincing finish. Lovely and rich - it’s difficult not to get excited about Pinot Bianco when it tastes like this. | 92
