BUY THE WINE

Nicolas Belfrage | Light pink, effectively rosé rather than ramato. Slightly dumb on the nose. Quite rich, with a bit of viscosity, this is a wine of pleasant drinking, with a fuller note on the dry finish. Best with food. | 89

Bruno Besa | Pink, orange. Intense orange and bergamot nose, clean, with an inviting and complex character. Citrus-fruit palate, with orange marmalade and pink grapefruit. Long and clean. | 90

Andrew Jefford | Quite a full pink: almost hard to believe you could get as much pigment as this out of a Pinot Grigio skin. Ample, sweet, sherbetty-minty fruit: almost like smelling a breath-freshener, but this has its charms. Lush, fruity, and generously contoured on the palate, but not in any way concentrated or fine, and I’m a bit puzzled by its mintiness. A quaff. | 81
