BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Pale straw with green highlights. Slightly closed, yellow and white stone-fruits nose, and fairly intense minerality. Clean palate, slightly simple fruit, moderate length. | 87

Andrew Jefford | Bright, pale gold. This is fresh and almost grassy, taking us back toward Friulano; the white pepper is a little more typical of Pinot Bianco. Zesty, creamy, light on the palate, where the grassiness is less evident and it is more cream and pepper over vanilla and nectarine. Very pretty wine, in fact, and delicious drinking. | 88

Michael Palij | Clean, complex, elegant nose that reflects this variety’s natural predilections. Peach, apple, honeysuckle, and almond are all there, although the finish is short and evinces the telltales of skin contact masquerading as concentration. Well-made, simple, and correct. | 84
