Bruno Besa | Straw with golden highlights. Open yet slightly oak-driven nose; clean, with mature yellow and white fruits. Mature and intense palate, with a long, mineral finish. May need some more time for the oak to better integrate. | 90
Andrew Jefford | Bright steel-gold. Soft, haunting, almost faintly musky, with ample intrigue: excellent aromatic work here. The apple and pear fruits are still present, but that supple creamy-musky-citrussy mist (lees work must play a role in this) lends them unusual allure. Very tender and delightful. Vivid and mouthfilling on the palate, and that same combination of tenderly defined fruits lent wealth and amplitude by the dropping light cream of lees is impressive. | 89
Michael Palij | Simple notes of overripe fruit, including ginger and dried honey contribute to an excessively alcoholic rendering of this variety— possibly from a riper site or a less attentive winery. The finish is clumsy and short. | 78
