BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Straw with golden highlights. Open, intense, and complex, with fresh herbs, white peaches, apricots and fresh-cut hay. Clean and mature on the palate, with a complex citrus-fruit finish. | 91

Andrew Jefford | Clean and bright. This has rather heavily defined fruits; indeed, it may even be a little oxidized. Lacks the aerial charm of the best. Clunky and tired on the palate, too, alas. | 75

Michael Palij | Obvious tertiary notes of oriental spice, wax, honeycomb, turmeric, almond, peach, apple, and beeswax flood the nose, but the palate has a surprising whack of acidity that dominates the wine. The nose promised much, but the palate seems to be in thrall to the acidity. | 86
