BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Straw with pink highlights, a touch cloudy. Open, rustic nose, not entirely clean. A little residual sugar on the palate, and a medicinal finish. | 82

Andrew Jefford | Almost pinkish in hue, though basically a straw: intriguing. And lots of straw on the nose: hamster litter before the hamster has arrived, together with slightly estery pear fruits. A little bit feral. Semi-sweet and frankly strange on the palate, with a funky, feral note. I couldn’t enjoy this, alas. | 76

Michael Palij | Cloudy, seemingly a tank sample, which is difficult to evaluate. Very phenolic. Tough and some VA at this nascent stage. | 74
