Essi Avellan: Medium-deep color, withatouch of peach. Some restraint on the mineral and hay nose, with Golden Delicious apple and strong flowery notes. Some dusty overtones and a mild lift to the wine. Very dry palate bringing austerity and cutting the finish short. | 86

Simon Field: A nacrous pallor belies heady aromas, the citric and the floral engaged, the bubbles small and persistent. Red fruits sing on the palate, alpine strawberry and a hint of rosehip; behind that, almonds and macadamia. The sweetness on the end froths somewhat abruptly, leavening the message with a simplistic conclusion. | 87

Tom Stevenson: Some freshness, a touch acetone; fine linearity and good fruit, but rather one-dimensional and not shouting Meunier. | 83
