BUY THE WINE

Essi Avellan: Deep orange-hued color. Youthful, strongly fragrant nose. Tart red berries, lingonberry and red currant. Candy tones. Fresh and feisty palate, zingy and linear. Nicely balanced sweetness. | 88

Simon Field: A shimmering russet color and lifted playful nose, which recalls bath salts and overripe blueberries. The palate is soapy, rich, edgy, and a little foursquare, the fruit captured in a warm Klimt embrace of forced stony exuberance. Ultimately, there is not quite enough elegance here. | 86

Tom Stevenson: Lovely peach color, but there is a prominent green thread through the aroma to the palate, indicating some unripe grapes. | 80
