Essi Avellan: Deep lemon color. Strong, expressive nose, on the earthy-mineral and woody side. The oxidative notes are nicely bound to the opulent fruitiness of the wine. Spicy and appley fruit dominance. Full and rich palate, with accentuated acidity bringing freshness to the fresh whole. Really oaky but not overly oxidative. Winey and concentrated. | 88

Simon Field: Deep miasmic color, a touch musty at first on the nose. This blows away, but the anticipation is soon dispelled by an oaky uncertain incoherence, which gives the impression of not even bothering to flatter to deceive. | 75

Tom Stevenson: Yet another example with volatile oak. | 77
