Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Some mixed ripeness here, but no out-and-out herbaceousness; the overall effect is soft-focus but fresh, with as much cherry and cherry blossom as blackcurrant. Light and graceful but potentially light and tangy if kept too long, so I’d tuck into this wine over the next five years. | 83
Michael Schuster | Closed, red-fruit ripe; fresh, with a hint of the lack of 2015 concentration in the northern Médoc. Fresh, medium-full wine, finely but fairly firmly tannic; crisply ripe, medium depth, ripe red fruit in flavor, lightly gravelly in aroma, a touch of crisp acidity, medium length in aftertaste. Nice, in a lighter, more restrained vein. Accessible now, but no hurry. Pleasing, brisk claret in a lighter style, drinkable already—but not a long-term keeper. Now to 2025 | 86
