Andrew Jefford | Sweet-fruited, showing its oak quite prominently, but fragrant and attractive nonetheless. Lively, vivid, crunchy, and curranty fruits with almost crisp tannins and a sweet comeliness from oak. Not a long-term wine—but given its present disposition, I would leave it a year or two before broaching it. Concentrated and deep compared to some of its price peers in the appellation, though without any of the roastiness and warmth one would expect in a great year. | 89
Michael Schuster | Closed, but gently minerally nose; supple, very finely tannic, medium-full wine; gently juicy in fruit, gravelly in aromas, long and fresh, nicely defined and with excellent length; not super- concentrated, but without any sense of “rain weakness” a lovely mid-rank, mid-weight classic claret. Complete and satisfying. 2023–33+. | 91
