Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Ample warmth and ripeness here—some sweet cherry and tender plum. Pretty. On the palate, this is soft, smooth, lush, and giving, with brightly defined fruits and gentle but supporting textures. Not for the first time, the overt sweetness of the aromatics gives way to a palate that is much brighter and fresher than the scents suggested. Look for further complexities with age, and that balanced palate should give the wine legs for 10 to 14 years. | 88
Michael Schuster | Black ripe fruit to smell, verging on jammy; full, moderately tannic, slightly alcohol-warm, but an ample very ripe tasting red, little subtlety, if plenty of lesser level, ripe-fruited flavor, modest scope, and medium length. Accessible soon at table. Now to 2027. | 87
