Stephen Brook | There’s not much showing for the moment on the nose, other than a whiff of oak and some very subdued apricot fruit. It’s much brighter and more lifted on the palate, with freshness, silkiness, and almost racy acidity to the fore. I don’t sense much complexity or any great persistence, but it’s balanced if rather forward. Moderate length, but there are more exciting second wines here. | 87

Andrew Jefford | Full bright gold in color with a bright, softly minty sweetness, straw and white mushroom; subtle apricots beneath. Rich, unctuous, and tangy, with ample apricotty sweetness; this is a second wine that overdelivers. Super stuff, and doubtless great value. | 89
