Neil Beckett | Lemon-gold. Still negotiating with itself on the nose: a light whiff of barrel reduction, caramel, and smoke, but apparently enough goodwill all round for there to be an eventual entente. Greater harmony on the palate, the balance of honey and lemon, still a little resistance from the wood, but the grand cru class became more evident with time in the glass and the seductive silkiness inspires confidence. | 92
