Built three meters deep in the earth, the restaurant’s extraordinary wine cellar is a cavern of multi-hued lava that erupted in the year 1226. Its striking colors evoke sensations of cave paintings, but its walls—lined with vintages from all over the world—were painted by the volcanic hand of nature. Occupying the deepest point at Blue Lagoon Iceland, the cellar, with its spellbinding geology, is the site of daily tasting events.
