This month, Robuchon au Dome at the Grand Lisboa, three star winner and recipient of the Best Champagne & Sparkling Wine List in Asia, World’s Best Dessert & Fortified Wine List, Best Dessert & Fortified Wine List in Asia, shares their current favorite pairing.
The Head Sommelier at Robuchon au Dome chose Musigny, Cuvée Vieilles Vignes, Comte Georges de Vogüé 1996 to pair with the restaurant’s signature dish: La Truffe Noire, a crispy black truffle tart, pearl onion and country bacon.
The artistic design of black truffle slices over crispy tart pairs beautifully with the elegant yet concentrated Musigny Cuvée Vieilles Vignes, Comte Georges de Vogüé. The exceptional wine is well-balanced with pristine flavors of cherries, blueberries and traces of sweetness. It harmoniously enhances the black truffle as well as light bacon and pearl onion touch.
