Essi Avellan | Pale youthful color. Soft, subtle, white-fruit nose. Quite muted. Lemon and floral tones but not very pleasant. Tart and hard, missing fruit. Medium-long and correct on the finish. | 88

Alex Hunt | Pale color, fruit-driven style, quite exotic: roast peaches. A rich (though dry) palate, with very little effervescence but a nice chalky grip holding it together. Not exactly the last word in finesse, but a characterful, winey style. | 88

Tom Stevenson | Pale, with a fresh aroma, a delicately soft and lacy mousse, and very fine, classically lean, linear structure of exquisitely fresh, incredibly fine fruit. I don’t think this is very old, but I’m hoping it is because it is extremely young at heart. | 95
