Essi Avellan | Deep, evolved, orange-hued golden color. Slightly dusty nose, with hints of mushroom. Weak fruitiness, with dried fruits, honey, and vanilla dominating. Fully mature palate, too, with withering fruitiness. Finishes rather short and drying. Hanging in there still, but long past its drinking peak. | 87

Alex Hunt | Deep amber color and a tired, gluey aroma. Something musty on the palate, here—either low-level TCA or just the exposed structure of a too-tired wine. | 79

Tom Stevenson | Paler color, yet still a deep gold. Big, toasty aromas, fine acids, and toasty fruit. Long on the finish. Spoiled by a touch of TCA (drinkably low, non-scalping). | 85
