BUY THE WINE

Essi Avellan | Deep orange color. Nutty and oxidative nose, with weak dried-fruit complexity left. Orange candies, Earl Grey tea. Winey palate, with soft mousse left. Very sweet finish, with some fruit still left to carry it through. Long past its peak, though. | 87

Alex Hunt | Dark amber color, and the caramelly-malty aromas of burned milk. Still has structure and cohesion, and makes for a decent mouthful of wine, but the biscuity flavors are past their best, and rather simple. | 83

Tom Stevenson | A little maderized. Disappointing. | 79
