Jamie Goode | Lovely detail and focus here. There’s a pepper and dried-herb edge to the sweet berry and cherry-fruit nose. The palate is supple and has a savory, spicy twist to the well-balanced fruit. Complex, this sits on the right side of the ripeness spectrum, offering sweet fruit but never crossing the line into jamminess. | 93

Andrew Jefford | Deep though not opaque black-red. Lifted aromas, partly floral but partly something a little more agricultural; only modestly attractive. A touch of silage. Acidic, muddled, and loose on the palate; not a great success, though drinkable.| 83

David Williams | Delightful, detailed Syrah nose: really pretty and violet-fragrant but layered with darkness: fruit and something more mysterious and savory. Smart palate, with sinewy tannins, balanced and fresh but multifaceted and savory-spicy. Length and complexity. Very fine. | 94
