Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | More intensity and sap than in previous vintages, firm but civilized tannins, suffers only from the comparison with the surprising Duhart in this vintage. | 94
Michael Schuster | Dense, crisp blackcurrant Cabernet; full, fresh, finely tannic; juicily ripe in cassis fruit, framed by a fine, firm tannin, sweet, long, with a very nice tenacity of flavor and complexity, finely gravelly underneath, fresh, without any 2018 excess, and with a fine, crisply defined length; lovely definition, excellent persistence, a touch of austerity from the acidity, but a very good Carruades. 2026–40. | 90–91
