BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster | Freshly, minerally ripe and persistent; full, fresh, finely, firmly tannic; generous, ripe, and succulent, with a juicy, fleshy quality from the one third Merlot; refined and subtle to taste and with excellent fruit persistence. The tannins, for the moment, perhaps a little emphasized by the very fresh acidity, but that will mellow with time. This is still a fine expression of St-Julien. 2028–40+. | 91–93
