Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Great generosity in body and texture, with balanced and refined tannins. The aromatic freshness was more discreet at the time of our tasting, but we will obviously come back to it after it has had a little more time in barrel. | 96–97
Michael Schuster | Inky; very mineral and aromatic to smell— persistent and subtle; rich and fresh and firm in tannin; very sweet and juicy, with a lovely, crisp, defining freshness, long, complex, and aromatic, powerful and delicate at the same time, and all within a "solid," but polished, tannin, the alcohol a shade warm/hard on the finish and toward the end of the palate, and with very fine length. A powerful Ducru-Beaucaillou, its frame a touch sinewy, so probably a fairly long-term wine. 2032–50. | 93–95
