BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | A complete wine, slighter more elegant than Glana, with nice tannins. An elegant aromatic shine to it, too. | 93–94

Michael Schuster | Mineral impressions alongside freshly ripe black fruit; full, fresh to crisp, finely tannic; rich, juicy, succulent, and sappy, a lovely combination of matter and length, way above its Cru Bourgeois status; a great Gloria, generous, complete, classy. Remarkable. Monsieur Martin senior would have been a bit surprised, and inordinately proud. 2028–42+. | 91–92
