Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Purer and more complex than in the past, still a bit rigid in the middle of the mouth, but it will soften with time. | 93

Michael Schuster | A fine blackberry-ripe fruit, and subtle minerality; rich, vital, fleshy, and firmly tannic; vigorous, vivid, sweet, and long, a touch chewy from the wood, a slightly muscular Margaux interpretation of the year, but with a nice length of aftertaste. Good wine, if in a more austere mold at least for the moment. 2030–45+. | 91–92
