Michael Schuster | Haut-Bailly II is the new name for what used to be called Les Pardes, the second wine. Very ripe, finely gravel-tinged nose; full but elegant balance, a fresh acidity, and a very fine, lightly dry tannin; ripe, moderately rich, freshly sweet, juicy, generous but restrained, too; clear gravel aromas alongside the fruit, long across the palate, no asperity, and with a fine, fragrant, gravel and strawberry-fruited length. Lovely second wine, a nice weave of complexity, and very complete. 2025–40+. | 91–92
