BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster | Plummy ripe and lightly mineral; rich, supple, finely tannic, an easy, fleshy, ample balance; full, ripe, quite powerful, generous wine, very Merlot in character, but with a lightly mineral suffusion, a nice length of flavor, gently mouthcoating, slightly dry tannins for the moment, and clear warmth. Here, too, a lovely, gently throat-coating fruit persistence. Will need 8–10 years ideally. 2028–40+. | 91–92
