Michael Schuster | Intense, plummy Merlot nose, with a light gravel hint; medium-full, fresh, finely tannic; freshly sweet in flavor, restrained and gently racy, long and graceful and fine, and with very good, ripe red fruit and mineral-fragrant length. A bit less fruit concentration, a bit more aromatic finesse, than the La Chapelle (which mirrors the distinction with the grand vin as well). Complete and fine and accessible comparatively early. 2025–35+. | 90–92
