Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Most probably one of the most beautiful Pape Cléments in history. | 96–97

Michael Schuster | Dense, ripe, gently mineral, subtly oaky, withatouch of herbal character; full, firmly tannic, fresh, a long-term, slightly chewy structure; freshly red-fruit ripe in flavor, lightly mineral behind, juicy, tannic, close-grained, with a crisp red-fruit and gravel-imbued finish. A touch austere at the moment from the combination of oak and acidity and natural grape tannin. Very good, but will need 12–15 years ideally. 2030–48+. | 91–93
