Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Broad and very fresh for this premier grand cru still in its infancy; one gets a sense of a definite build, an aromatic persistence that will gain in finesse in the coming months to give birth to the property’s true truffle style. | 94–95

Michael Schuster | Very oaky to smell at present, but limestone- mineral, too; rich and relatively powerful, ample, fleshy, tannic, firm in acidity; quite forceful for the vintage at the moment, a firm tannic frame round a fine, sweet, fleshy core, aromatic, complex, and long. A sinewy, long-term expression of the year. Very good, but will need plenty of time. 2035–50+. | 92–93+
