Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Satiny and creamy tannins support a rich structure that expresses itself in the subtle touch to the mouth, right through to the finish. Remarkably fine and fresh grain. | 96

Michael Schuster | Dense, blackberry-ripe nose, rich and persistent; concentrated and very finely and firmly tannic; a vital ripeness to taste, particularly vivid and intense in flavor, richly complex, too, aromatic, mouthcoating, powerful without being heavy, and with fine aromatic length, too. Especially succulent and juicy in its fruit-core persistence. Stefan Neipperg described it as “A mix of just ripe, very ripe, and overripe fruit.... a very nice blend then!” And it is indeed a particulary fine Mondotte, if not for the faint hearted drinker. 2030–50+. | 94–95
