Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Beautiful, silky tension, great, intense, and precise fruit, deep and long, with a subtle grain of tannin. | 95–96
Michael Schuster | Sweet, oaky, raisiny ripe fruit; medium-full in impression, fresh to vital in acidity, dry in wood tannin; a pure and transparent core fruit, very fresh in impression, gently perfumed and aromatic, with a nice, delicate fruit persistence, lovely length actually. But I doubt the tannic frame will ever be absorbed, and will always be a feature... that you have to like. As with Pavie, you can taste the finesse underneath.... but it is currently swamped by the wood tannin texture. 2028–40+. | 89–91
