Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | A Nénin with hints of lead pencil, for the moment serious, withatruly great potential. Time in barrel will give it nuance and a great complexity. As is always the case, it is Pomerol’s marathon runner. | 94
Michael Schuster | Fragrant, floral, subtle, spicy, finely herbal; rich, vigorous, finely and firmly tannic, nicely balanced given its weight; sweet, pure, elegant, gently racy across the palate, long and refined, quite juicy, that faintly herbal character there on the palate, too, fragrant and stylish, a touch warm to finish, but nothing hard. Graceful wine, very nice indeed. Let’s hope the alcohol doesn’t harden the tannins. 2028–40+. | 90–92+
