Simon Field | Lemongrass, tangerine, and the distant voices of the still summer meadow; this gentle estival evocation is a little compromised by a palate that seems a touch clumsy, granitic, linear... | 89

Andrew Jefford | Pale, clear green-gold. Very pretty, precise, almost snowy floral aromas over attractive fresh-apricot fruits and a grainy velouté; super Condrieu, enticing and enchanting. Diverting, fresh, and lively in the mouth, yet rich, too. A huge success on every front, this wine has both weight and nimbleness, flowers and fruits, ginger and nougat, fruit and freshness. A brilliant all-rounder | 93

John Livingstone-Learmonth | Yellow robe with hint of green. Refined oak toast and pear, white-strawberry airs mingle on a stylish nose that has a rustle of grapiness. It’s well delineated. The palate bears a cooked-lemon, pear-in-syrup flavor. It extends with a sure hand, is refined on the close. Good poise, quiet class here, a no-frills Condrieu. 2020–21. | 91
