Neil Beckett | A single demi-muid, but what a good one. Intense mid-gold (as a barrel sample). Invitingly exotic in personality, with dried, even glacé, fruit, but not at all over-ripe or over-rich, thanks to a perfectly judged picking date and very little bâtonnage. Lovely consistency and harmony, rich for Léchet but with well-balanced, well-integrated, ripe acidity, which keeps it mouthwatering through the long finish. Outstanding Côte de Léchet. | 91+
