BUY THE WINE

Neil Beckett | The vines here, now with an average age of 30 years, are entering their prime, and it shows. A beautiful color: intense, luminous mid-ruby. And a beautiful nose, too: enigmatic but friendly, fine, subtle, gently earthy, lightly roseate, more ripe raspberry fruit emerging in the glass. Compact, poised, taut but not tight, with comforting fruit sweetness and very fine tannins, then a lingering, refreshing finish. Needs time but will be a delicious expression of this hors classe village wine. | 91
