Bruno Besa | Transparent garnet to pink. Intense, clean, very elegant, mature small red and black fruits, with a lively floral character; cassis, with earthy, truffle undertones. Medium body, firm yet refined tannins, clean and mature red fruit, youthful and bright finish. | 92

Stephen Brook | Juicy raspberry nose, open, ripe, and seductive. Nimble attack, but the tannins and acidity soon kick in, and there’s a certain rawness here. This needs to settle down and lose some of its rough edges, and the tannins lack some refinement. More worrying is the modest persistence, and this may not make old bones. Rather dry finish, too. | 84

Andrew Jefford | Clear, light, and limpid bright red. Fresh, redcurrant and pomegranate fruits, a touch of tar: very scrutable and classical. Dry refinement. On the palate, this is clean and fresh, light and graceful: intense redcurrant fruit, with a bright acid balance and fine tannins. Deft and graceful from start to finish, and close to the Barbaresco ideal. 2018–23. | 90
