Simon Field | Dense and rather soupy; VA and maybe a little oxidation. The second bottle is little better... | 76
Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red; not opaque. Sweet on the nose (from oak), but the fruits are a little sinewy and light; you do get the sense of a lesser vintage here. Very tangy acidity dominates the palate, and there are some tough tannins, but much of the central palate wealth of fruit is missing. I wouldn’t enjoy this much, alas. 2018. | 79
Jancis Robinson | Blackish ruby with some evolution at the rim. Does not smell clean. Some microbial spoilage? Tart and volatile on the palate. | 82
