Michael Edwards: Limpid pale gold, green lights; a fine cordon of flowing small bubbles; quite contained nose, healthy; good energy and texture in the mouth. Elegant and fine drawn, some class. | 89
Simon Field: Pale, initially a little murky, the mist lifting with modest aeration; bead somewhat diffuse, but finally impressively persistent. Hints of lanolin, citrus, and biscuit, the latter greatly enhanced after ten minutes; then the palate has hidden power, with more energy and concentration than anticipated, citric and oaky elements poised in elegiac tension. Firm, taut acidity frames an upstanding sense of worth. | 90
Anne Krebiechl: Golden color. The nose is restrained, teasing with gentlest yellow stone fruit and bitter orange peel against a backdrop of oatmeal. On the palate, a rounded richness and toasty notes appear, and once again, hints of honey and stone fruit flash up. The mousse softens perceptibly. A lip-smacking earthiness refreshes the finish, which is rich, lasting, and deep with umami. | 94
