Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. A sense of fruited density lifts from the glass: plum, blackcurrant, and earth. Admirable ripeness, too: a fine effort. On the palate, this is deep, long, generous, and dense. The blackcurrant fruits are cool and classical, but there is nothing at all that is austere here, and the concentration, roundness, tannic grain, and poise of the wine are remarkable. Very much worth seeking out as a value of the vintage. 2018–25. | 90
Michael Schuster | Red-fruit ripe on the nose; crisp and firm, medium-full wine, austere for the moment and it will need time to mellow; that said, this has a fine flavor, gently complex and aromatic, in a slightly more austere mold; its harmony means this will be very good with time in bottle. 2024–32+. | 89
