Andrew Jefford | Deep black-red. Warm and cedary aromas of gentle ripe currants and plums: soft-contoured but inviting. Currant and vibrant flavors make for a wine with plenty of concentration and depth for the vintage. There are no green tones here, nor is the acidity overdominant; supple, mid-weight tannins shape the wine. A good effort. 2018–23. | 88
Michael Schuster | Dense blackcurrant and mineral nose; rich, firm, tannic, fairly full-bodied wine; a classically muscular, but fine-textured Pauillac; deep, tasty, quite complex, long to taste and long to finish; a fine second wine, but needing plenty of time in bottle to reveal its potential. 2026–35+. | 91
