Andrew Jefford | Deep red-black in color. Warm, refined, and graceful, yet without any notable focus or palpable allusions. A softer style of fruit than many; no sense of vintage reserve, at any rate. After a little time in the glass it grows more constrained. Pure, lean, and soft in the mouth, just teased to ripeness but not far beyond. Moderate concentration and submissive tannins, though the acidity is also less sharp and better integrated than for many of its peers. The overall effect is one of minor-key elegance and finesse, and I do like the purity you can find in the palate here. 2018–23. | 88

Michael Schuster | Very nice ripe cassis fruit on the nose; elegantly balanced mid-weight, fresh to crisp, finely tannic; nicely defined, linear, refined Margaux; pure, restrained, long in flavor, and long and gently fragrant to finish. A bit oak- tight for the moment, and will reward more time in bottle, but should be a good middle-rank Margaux. 2024–34+. | 90
