Andrew Jefford | Deep black-red. Sweet, warm, and rounded, but without any fresh-fruit precision. A little tangy and dry on the palate: Hurry along already. 2018–19. | 81
Michael Schuster | Moderately ripe fruit and new-oak nose; medium-full, lightly, drily tannic, brisk in acidity; like so many lesser St-Emilions in this vintage, this is another one that is red-fruit in character, slightly “edgy” modest in its fruit offering and finish. Rather hard work overall! But probably best drunk young, and with fairly rich food. Now to 2024. | 84
